It was a hot summer day. A fox felt thirsty. He went out of his cave in search of water. He

came upon a shallow well. He
looked inside the well. He found

that there was little water at
the bottom of the well. He

tried to drink it but he fell
inside the well. The water

was cool and clear. He
quenched his

thirst.

He tried to come out of
the well, but he was
unable to do so.
